If what you want is to photograph your clothes and organize them, there are virtual closet apps built for that, and DRAPE isn’t one of them. Here you don’t upload your wardrobe: you see how other people put clothes together and take the idea to yours. Lots of people use both — and this is exactly what closet apps were missing: inspiration that doesn’t only come from your own clothes.
How to get the most out of it in a week
1. Pick your styles carefully
When you start, it asks which styles you like. Choose the ones you’d actually wear, not the ones you admire from afar: the feed starts there.
2. Like things without overthinking
For the first few days, react to everything that catches your eye. It’s the fastest way for the feed to understand you.
3. Save by plan
Create collections by occasion or season. When a dinner or an interview comes up, the answer is already saved.

Is DRAPE free?
Yes. DRAPE is a free download on the App Store and you can use it without paying: feed, search, outfit of the day, collections and posting your looks.
Is there a DRAPE app for Android?
For now DRAPE is only on iPhone. The Android version is on its way.
Does DRAPE create outfits with AI?
No. The looks on DRAPE are photos of real people actually wearing them, not generated outfits. What is automatic is the order of the feed, which learns from what you like.
Can I style my own clothes in the app?
DRAPE isn’t a virtual closet: you don’t upload your clothes for the app to combine them. Instead you find looks similar to what you own and take the idea. And if you want, you post your own.
